I was walking down the hall, late one day
When I happened to see
A girl so fair, standing there.
She was looking at me.

Fawn in headlights, frozen in movement,
Who is your pilot ? I just said hi to her.
I veered to the right of her whirlpool eyes
And left my senses, who knows where.

    Maybe I’m dreaming
That she has some feelings for me.
Why do these thoughts come to me ?
Are things as they seem ?
Am I in her dreams ?
I wish I knew how she feels.

She pines in the doorway in the wake of my reverie.
Is she thinking of me ?
Her spellbinding motion
Is sweeping me off my feet.
